UniInvest (S) Pte. Ltd. is a fully owned subsidiary of Uni Financial Group. The Company holds a Capital Market Services License for conducting fund management activities from the Monetary Authority of Singapore (CMS100908).

This means that we meet the requirements from MAS to manage your money and invest on your behalf.

Your money and assets are in safe custody

We ensure your monies and investments are segregated from those of all Uni group entities and our underlying asset managers. Your monies are kept in a separate client account, and your investments are custodised, with licensed regional financial institutions.

This means that your money and assets remain safe in the unlikely event that UniInvest stops operating.

Your account is twice as secure

Your data is encrypted. You’ll set up a 2-factor authentication with a Uni PIN. This PIN is triggered every time a withdrawal is made to move your money from your UniInvest account to your UniPay Wallet.

That means all you need to do is keep your PIN top secret. Classified. No sharing. You get the idea.

UNIInvest (S) Pte Ltd is a wholly owned subsidiary of UNI Financial Group. We bring accessible and transparent tech-led investment solutions for everyone via the UNI app.

You can open an account with UNIInvest when you choose to ‘invest’ in any of our solutions. For us to satisfy our regulatory obligations as a license holder, we will need to obtain certain documents/information from you.

This is for us to know you better and for anti-money laundering purposes.

Currently, AutoInvest is only available for:

• Indian Citizens
• Indian Permanent Residents (PRs)
• Work Pass Holders

You need to be at least 18 years old to access AutoInvest.

Please note that AutoInvest is not available for US persons (US Citizen, US Green Card Holder, or US Tax Resident) at this point of time.

Please ensure that all such information provided to UNIInvest is up to date and accurate at all times. If you are unable to provide such information, or if it is incomplete, you will not be able to open an account and invest with us.

For providing and updating know-your-customer (KYC) information, please follow this process.

UNIInvest wants to ensure that the investment plan works for you. We focus on your interest by prioritising transparency of information at onboarding, low fees, choosing best in class asset managers, and providing daily reporting with details of investments in your portfolio.

We access capital markets with investment objectives aligned to your needs. Prices in capital markets can fluctuate and your principal is not guaranteed.

We take our customers’ privacy and data security seriously and will share your information only with your consent or as otherwise permitted by law. We commit to full compliance with provisions of the Personal Data Protection Act 2012. To enable us to provide this service, it will be necessary for your information to be shared by or with UNI and within the various entities within the UNI group.

AutoInvest FAQs

AutoInvest is a micro-investment solution to put your UNIPay balance to work as you spend on UNI. It is linked to your UNIPay Wallet. When you use eligible UNI services, an additional amount of your choice is transferred from your UNIPay Wallet and invested on your behalf by UNIInvest (S) Pte. Ltd. (UNIInvest).

UNIInvest buys into underlying investment funds or other investment products as we may deem suitable for the investment objective.

When you withdraw money from AutoInvest, we will redeem the units of the investment products and the proceeds will be transferred straight back for you to spend via UNIPay Wallet or UNIPay Card.

AutoInvest portfolios consist of actively managed funds.

Across our portfolios, these funds have total expenses of around 0.45% per annum (for 1,00,000 invested for 1 year, that is 450 rupees).

This total expense ratio includes items like the fund management fee as well as other costs associated with managing the fund such as custodians, auditors, trustees, and legal advisers, amongst others. Any investor who purchases these funds pays exactly the same fees. The fees will be reflected in the price of the fund.

Through this arrangement, you will pay the same fees as anyone who invests into the funds.

There are no subscription or redemption fees charged. Also, there are no additional management fees for you.

No, AutoInvest is neither a savings account nor a fixed deposit account. The amounts invested are not insured or protected by the Life Insurance Corporation Limited .

We invest into capital markets where prices of securities can go up or down and principal is not guaranteed. The risk profile of AutoInvest is conservative and investments are limited to short duration investment grade fixed income funds.

The current list of eligible services are UNI Rides, UNIFood, UNIMart and payments to merchants through UNI. These services are only eligible for AutoInvest if the payment method indicated for these services are Credit/Debit Card, UNIPay Wallet, or UNIPay Card.

If the payment method is Cash or PayLater, those transactions would not be eligible for AutoInvest.

Your portfolio is automatically reviewed for rebalancing on a quarterly basis. We use the latest market data and forecasts to make sure the portfolio complies with the risk target. If adjustments to the allocation are necessary, the system will automatically transact sell and buy orders of the investment funds to align the portfolio.

Rebalancing of your portfolio is initiated on a quarterly basis. If the deviation of current allocation to target allocation is more than 2%, your portfolio will be rebalanced back to target allocation. You will be notified 3 calendar days in advance should we initiate a rebalancing to your portfolio. Any deviations that are 2% or less from the target allocation will not be rebalanced.

On an ongoing basis, we also monitor the behaviour and performance of the underlying funds. If there is a need to switch out the underlying fund or update the target allocation, we will perform this change in your portfolio during the quarterly rebalancing or on an ad hoc basis when there is a need. We will monitor that the performance of the underlying funds is in line with the investment mandate and that the funds can perform up to expectations.

Rebalancing is carried out at UNIInvest's discretion only and you are not required to confirm or cancel any rebalancing. Notwithstanding such rebalancing of your portfolio, there may still be a small deviation from the target allocation due to rounding decimals.

Withdrawal Requirements:

In order to perform a successful withdrawal and transfer the proceeds to your UNIPay Wallet, please take note of the following:

1. You have to ensure that your UNIPay Wallet balance will not exceed S$5,000 after the transfer;
2. The minimum transfer amount is Rs1000
3. If the withdrawal amount is equivalent to 90% or more of your Current Value, it will result in a full withdrawal of all the investments in your portfolio; and
4. If less than Rs 1000 remains in AutoInvest after deducting the partial withdrawal amount, it will result in a full withdrawal of all the investments in your portfolio

If one or more of the above requirements are not met, you will not be able to withdraw from your investments and transfer the proceeds to your UNIPay Wallet.

How does UNIInvest process your Withdrawal:

1. We will collect withdrawal requests placed anytime between 00.00 - 23.59
2. At 11.00AM on the next working day, we will send a sell instruction to the Asset Management Company so they can initiate a sell process.
3. Different funds have different withdrawal timings, and we're investing in a few funds. It will take 2 to 4 working days for the withdrawal process to be completed.
4. Once all Asset Management Companies have successfully processed the withdrawal, UNIInvest will automatically transfer your withdrawal amount to your UNIPay Wallet.
5. You can also track the status of your withdrawal request under the "Recent Transfer" section in the AutoInvest page.

Partial vs Full Withdrawal:

1. Partial Withdrawal

A partial withdrawal means you initiate a withdrawal of anything less than 90% of the Current Value of your AutoInvest plan. To initiate a partial withdrawal, you first indicate the amount you wish to withdraw. We will then instruct the Asset Management Company to withdraw that indicated amount from your investment funds. Based on the next available price, the units to be redeemed will be determined. The exact amount will be transferred to your UNIPay Wallet in 2 to 4 working days.
o Example: Benny has an AutoInvest plan. The Current Value is Rs5,00,000. He initiated a withdrawal of Rs3,00,000 from his AutoInvest plan. On the next working day, UNIInvest will instruct the Asset Management Company to redeem Rs3,00,000 from Benny's investment funds. Benny will see Rs3,00,000 transferred to his UNIPay Wallet in 2 to 4 working days.

2. Full withdrawal

UNIInvest will trigger a full withdrawal if:
(a) you are withdrawing 90% or more of your Current Value; or
(b) less than Rs1000 would remain in the AutoInvest plan upon receiving your withdrawal request.
This means UNIInvest will withdraw 100% of your AutoInvest plan. UNIInvest will instruct the Asset Management Company to sell all the units in your investment funds at the next available price. You will get your money in your UNIPay Wallet in 2 to 4 working days.
Please note that the actual amount that you receive upon withdrawal might not be the same as the Current Value shown in the AutoInvest page (which you can access through the Invest menu in the UNI app). This is due to market price fluctuations and decimal rounding. All details such as executed price and units can be found under Investment Status in the Transfer Details page in the AutoInvest page.

withdrawal to transfer all the money back to your UNIPay Wallet. Please follow the steps below:

(Note: If your AutoInvest plan is already deactivated, please proceed directly to step 3.)

1. In the view AutoInvest plan page, find the Your AutoInvest section (you may need to scroll down if your mobile screen is small), then tap the Edit link.

2. The Edit AutoInvest page will open. Tap the toggle button beside Automatic transfers to deactivate it. Then tap the Save Changes button. Once this has been done, there will be no transfers coming into AutoInvest from UNIPay Wallet. However, any remaining AutoInvest balance will continue to be invested.

3. In the view AutoInvest plan page, ensure first that you do not have any pending or processing transfers in the Recent Transfers section. Then tap the Transfer button and withdraw all the money in your AutoInvest plan.

4. After you receive the money in your UNIPay Wallet, your AutoInvest plan will have Rs0.00

5. You can still access your AutoInvest plan and will still see it under the My Plans section. There will be no fees for maintaining the plan.

You can reactivate your plan anytime by enabling the Automatic transfers again in the Edit AutoInvest page. If you still continue to see deductions from your UNIPay Wallet even after you have already deactivated the plan, please fill in this form for us to assist you.

You can do so by initiating a full withdrawal via the Transfer option in the AutoInvest page.

In the view AutoInvest plan page, ensure first that you do not have any pending or processing transfers in the Recent Transfers section. Then tap the Transfer button and withdraw all the money in your AutoInvest plan.

After you receive the money in your UNIPay Wallet, your AutoInvest plan will have Rs0.00. You can still access your AutoInvest plan under the My Plans section to check your previous transfers.

There will be no fees for maintaining the plan.
